2026 Season Team Info & Updates

Chesterbrook Dive welcomes divers of all ages and abilities. Whether you’re a competitive club diver or just brave enough to jump off the board feet first, all we ask is that you bring a positive attitude and a willingness to learn—our coaches will take it from there!

Dive Season Information

Preseason Practices
Afternoon preseason practices run from May 26 through June 19:

• Session 1: 4:30 – 5:30 PM (beginner/younger)
• Session 2: 5:30 – 6:30 PM (advanced/older)

Regular Season Practices
Weekday morning practices run from June 22 through July 24:

• Session 1: 7:30 – 8:30 AM (beginner/younger)
• Session 2: 8:30 – 9:30 AM (advanced/older)

End-of-Season Practices:

• July 22–24: Divisional and Synchronized (Synchro) divers only
• July 29–31: All Stars divers only

Note on Afternoon Practices (New for 2026):
Regular Monday and Wednesday afternoon practices will no longer be offered. Divers seeking additional instruction may arrange private coaching with the coaches or dive reps.

We understand that families may have conflicts with swim, tennis, or camps—please don’t let that discourage participation. Reach out and we will do our best to accommodate your schedule. When possible, attending the age-appropriate session is best for development.

Dive Meets

• Meets are held on:
  • Tuesdays (A-Meets – competitive)
  • Thursdays (B-Meets – developmental)
• Start Time: 6:00 PM
• Warm-Ups:
  • Home meets: 4:00 PM
  • Away meets: 5:00 PM

The regular season includes:

• 5 A-Meets (Tuesdays)
• 4 B-Meets (Thursdays)

To qualify for an A-Meet, divers must complete the required number of legal dives for their age group (see NVSL Diving Rules for full details).

Example:

• Divers age 10 and under must perform 3 dives:
  • Forward dive
  • Back dive
  • Feet-first flip

All divers are encouraged to participate in B-Meets, which provide valuable experience in a supportive environment.

Additional Meet Opportunities

Divers may also participate in:

• Crackerjack Meet (for beginner divers)
• Wally Martin Synchronized Diving Meet
• NVSL Divisional Championships (qualification required)
• NVSL All Stars Championship (qualification required)

Fees

• $275 per diver (covers all team activities)

New Chesterbrook members may participate in a one-week preseason trial. Continued participation after the trial requires payment.

You can request the Chesterbrook Dive team logo in-store. Swimmers may use the same suit for both swim and dive.
