2025 Dive Team Schedule

A note about practice attendance:  daily practice is optional, but highly encouraged.  We understand divers have travel, camp, and other schedule conflicts during the summer, and that shouldn’t stop you from diving!  Please come as often as possible, and don’t worry about letting the reps or coaches know if you can’t make it.

Pre-Season Afternoon Practice Schedule:

Weekdays MONDAY-FRIDAY, starting Tues May 27, 2025 and ending June 13, 2025:

Session 1: 4:30 – 5:30 PM (beginner/younger)

Session 2: 5:30 – 6:30 PM (advanced/older)

Summer Practice Schedule:

Weekdays MONDAY-FRIDAY, starting June 16, 2025 and ending July 25, 2025:

8 & Under: 8:00 AM – 8:45 AM

* Little Jaws swimmers, please request the 7:15 AM swim practice so that you can attend the appropriate dive practice.

 9/10s: 8:45 AM – 9:45 AM  (Younger Competitive Divers)

11 and up: 9:45 AM – 11:00 AM (Older Competitive Divers)

* 13-and-older divers who are also on the swim team should attend the 8:45 to 9:45am practice.

Practices from July 16 to July 18 for Divisional Divers ONLY.

Practices from July 21 to July 25 for All Stars Divers ONLY.

Monday and Wednesday afternoons: We will no longer offer regular Monday and Wednesday afternoon practices.  For divers wanting extra instruction, please contact the dive reps or the coaches to arrange private coaching in the afternoons.  

We understand that families may have conflicts with the practice time they should attend due to participation in swim, tennis, or camps. Please do not let this discourage you from participation in dive! Contact us and we will do our best to accommodate your family’s needs. Ideally try and attend the age appropriate practice as it’s best for all divers.

2025 MEET SCHEDULE

Dive meets begin at 6pm. Warm-up is from 4-5pm for HOME meets and 5-6pm for AWAY meets.

A Meets (Competitive meets) – Tuesdays: 

• June 17 HOME – vs Wakefield Chapel
• June 24 HOME – vs Cardinal hill
• July 1 AWAY – at Tuckahoe
• July 8 AWAY – at Crosspointe
• July 15 HOME – vs Highland Park

B Meets (Developmental meets) – Thursdays: 

• June 19 – TBD 
• June 26 AWAY – at Tuckahoe
• July 3 – TBD (probably no meet)
• July 10 – TBD
• July 17 HOME – vs Donaldson Run

Other 2025 Meets:

Tuesday, June TBD  – Lollipop Meet at Chesterbrook 

5:00 PM start. This is our internal, informal, and fun meet to kick off the season!  The lollipop meet provides new divers an opportunity to experience what a meet is like with less pressure and more lollipops.

Sunday, July 14 – Cracker Jack Meet – North Springfield Pool

8:00 AM start.  Cracker Jack is an annual meet for beginner A-Meet divers (divers must have scored BELOW a certain threshold to quality).  Age groups will be assigned start times throughout the day.  More information will be provided as the meet approaches.

Sunday, July 20 – Divisionals – HOSTED BY CHESTERBROOK THIS YEAR!

8:00 AM start.  The top 16 divers (approximately two per age division) from each pool in our division are invited to compete for Divisional honors.  

Tuesday, July 22 – Synchronized Dive Meet – Vienna Woods Pool

Sunday, July 27 – All Stars Meet – Hunt Valley Pool

8:00 AM start.  The top two divers from Divisionals advance to All Stars, the all-NVSL championship meet.

Divers with prior experience on 3-meter springboards may discuss with the coaches regarding participating in the Wally Martin 3-Meter meet on July 16.  Chesterbrook typically does not participate in this meet.
